TAIMEN Foods Corporation is a professional seafood import and export trading company, established by Wen Kwai Ben Chan since January 1978; located in the Kaohsiung city, Taiwan. TAIMEN is majored in supplying various marine products such as Mahi Mahi, Oil Fish, Squids, Shrimps, Slipper Lobster, Sword Fish, Wahoo, and White Fish as many as prawns and fishes; mainly exporting Taiwanese seafood to Australia, Europe, and United States through out the world. Meanwhile, TAIMEN has been successfully promoting Taiwanese cultured fishes, such as Barramundi, Milk Fish and Tilapia to America, Australia, and Middle East Countries.

HISTORY OF TAIMEN

In 1989

In Taiwan, Black Tiger Prawn was affected by disease, which drove the production dropping tremendously. We switched and processed other sea fishes, sea Harvest Shrimp, and Squids to instead Black Tiger Prawn. Also imported the high quality seafood from the other countries as in needs to serve Taiwanese market; for instance, live Lobster, cooked Lobster, Atlantic Salmon, Pacific Salmon, Scallop, Raw Shrimps, cooked Shrimps, Fish Roe, etc...

In 1995

Transferred farming and the skills of Black Tiger Prawn production to Thailand.

In 1999

Switched the Black Tiger Prawn production skills from Thailand to Vietnam.

In 2000

Established the representative office in Hochiminh City, Vietnam.

In 2001

Jointed the Fish Meal factory in Hochiminh City, Vietnam.

October - TAIMEN's arch-president, Mr. Wen Kwai Ben Chan was no longer to work with us in TAIMEN Foods Corporation due to his death.

November - TAIMEN is managed by Mr. Chan's wife, Ms. Jannie Chen. Ms. Jannie Chen strongly believes that is her responsibility to continues Mr. Chan's lifetime accomplishment, TAIMEN Foods Corporation.
